Golden Arches for International Women’s Day
On International Women’s Day, we helped McDonald’s celebrate with an iconic act: flipping the Golden Arches upside down. We changed the Arches to a “W” on uniforms and packaging at 100 women-owned restaurants nationwide, even turning the sign itself at one franchise in California.
The inversion garnered attention from all over the globe, with over 1.6 billion media impressions, and making McDonald’s the #1 searched brand query on International Women’s Day.
